PRIMAVERA is One of Bavaria’s Best Employers

Update 05.05.2021: We are very happy to be among the winners of this year’s statewide competition for Bavaria’s best employer in 2021 conducted by the Great Place to Work® Research and Consulting Institute – an important accolade in our 35-year company history!

Every year, Great Place to Work® selects and awards excellent employers based on anonymous employee surveys and analysis of the corporate culture; the ratings are conducted on an international, national, regional, and industry-specific basis.

Original News November 2020:  As an organic company based at the foot of the Alps with around 250 employees, PRIMAVERA records a high level of basic trust with regard to workplace culture among those surveyed: The interviewees highlighted the fact that they feel appreciated as individuals and full fledged members of the team. The work at PRIMAVERA is therefore very valuable and important to employees. The interviewees confirm the existence of a culture of mutual support and trusting cooperation and view the founders and the company’s business practices as exemplary.

With regard to its brand image, PRIMAVERA also received a very positive assessment, which, according to the certifying entity, was evident from the comments in the open text fields. PRIMAVERA has been permitted to display the seal “Great Place to Work® Certified“ since November 1, 2020, thereby confirming its status as an “Attractive Employer”. Now it’s time to advance these findings, implement them in the company, and continue to improve overall.

This is the first time the manufacturer of high-quality organic aromatherapy products has participated in this certification process. Nearly 80 percent of PRIMAVERA employees participated in the anonymous digital survey in the summer of 2020. The feedback provided by the consulting institute that deals with the certification of the improvement of work and corporate culture indicated that this is significantly above average.

“We are extremely pleased that the assessment turned out so positive,” comments PRIMAVERA founder and Managing Director Kurt L.Nübling on the certification. “Mutual respect, trusting interaction and reciprocal peer support have been significant pillars of the special corporate culture at PRIMAVERA since its very beginning. That has always been very important to us and is practiced on equal terms. The fact that, in the context of the Great Place to Work® certification, this culture has been so clearly reflected by our employees across all departments, is very moving for me. Each and every one of our team deserves our thanks.”

Company founder Ute Leube adds: ”The survey indicates our employees’ impressive fundamental confidence in the company, in us as its founders, and in our management. We interact as a close-knit community so that, literally speaking, we cultivate our “grounded approach”. The Corona pandemic and all its concomitant effects brought into sharp focus just how motivated and resourceful PRIMAVERA team members are, even in difficult situations. We keep everyone and everything close together. As an employer, we seek to make our vision of an energy field of fragrance, light, and joie de vivre visible and tangible in our everyday professional lives. Evidently, this aspiration is bearing fruit. In times marked by shortages of both specialists and junior talent in a globalized and fast-paced world, this is an enormous treasure.”

Part of the Great Place to Work® certification program involves following an established procedure by which companies are awarded for their exceptional commitment to creating their workplace culture. The assessment is based on the independent, anonymous feedback of employees as well as analysis of human resources measures and programs. The award certificate states that the certification represents credible, fair leadership and active employee advancement. Furthermore: ”To a great extent, respect, trust, pride, and team spirit are part of the corporate culture.”

“The Declaration of Love for Humankind & Nature” - Firmly Embedded in the PRIMAVERA Core Brand

Kurt L. Nübling describes the special PRIMAVERA Spirit as follows: ”Each and every day, it is palpable and tangible that the fragrant world of PRIMAVERA is made up of people who are committed to acting on their convictions. Even if it’s sometimes difficult and there are challenges to overcome, our employees identify with their responsibilities and have a sense of well-being in their workplace in the midst of our Naturparadies (nature’s paradise). Our claim “The Declaration of Love for Humankind & Nature” becomes tangible for each and every one of us. From this viewpoint, sustainable action and management have an even more extensive scope for us as their employer.”

Multiple Awards - Ethics is more than just a word

The “Attractive Employer” award is another important distinction in the nearly 35-year history of the organic products company based at the foot of the Alps. In the German-speaking area, it is considered the aromatherapy market and quality leader. Thus, 2019 marked the second time PRIMAVERA was chosen as the Brand of the Century in aromatherapy. In 2018, the ecologically and socially responsible company was nominated for the German Sustainability Award for its commitment in the area of corporate partnerships. In 2017, PRIMAVERA earned the SPA Diamond Award in the Sustainability category.
